The jacket is designed to take you anywhere, anytime, anywhere and is meant for the harshest of conditions.

Material

The Klim Adventure Rally Motorcycle Jacket is mainly made from Gore-Tex 3-Layer Pro shell Armacor for the best level of waterproofing and abrasion resistance. Like all Gore-Tex products, the jacket is “guaranteed to keep you dry”. There are also additional large Gore-Tex 3 layer pro Talisman Superfabric reinforcements in slide zones. To make sure you remain visible in various weather conditions, the jacket also incorporates uses a high coverage of 3M Scotchlite reflective material.

Safety

The Klim AdventureRally Jacket also comes with a high level of protection to match the jacket’s tough outer shell. First, the jacket comes with D3O Xergo shoulder and elbow pads that meet or exceed CE Level 2 standards for EN1621-1:2011. Second, the back is also equipped with a D3O Viper Pro CE Level 2 protector.

The jacket also comes with a vertically adjustable and easily removable kidney belt. Straps in the shoulders that connect to the belt help to reduce fatigue by moving the jacket’s weight to the hips.

Lastly, the adventure jacket comes with silicone Dow Corning Deflexion integrated chest protectors.

Comfort

The Klim jacket has been designed to be ready for almost any situation you may encounter on long road trips. The jacket includes 10 external pockets with 2 in the upper chest, 4 lower center front pockets, 2 side quick-access tool pockets, a rear center back pocket, a left chest beacon pocket, and a forearm pocket. Additionally, there is a seem-sealed waterproof removable roll top dry bag included with the jacket. All these pockets also feature water resistant YKK Vislon zippers to help keep your equipment dry.

On the interior the motorcycle jacket comes with a hidden passport pocket and 2 inner chest pockets. The liner is a moisture wicking mesh and also comes prepared with a 3-liter Hydrapak reservoir included.

To adjust the jacket, there are straps at the bicep and forearm, a waist belt adjuster, Velcro wrist closures, and an adjustable collar. However, in addition to these adjusters, the jacket comes with stretch panels in the shoulders for a full range of motion.

For hot weather, the jacket also comes with multiple vents. The arm comes with 4 zippered intake vents (in the bicep and forearm), there are 2 upper torso vents, and 2 large back exhaust vents. The vents are zippered in case of rain, and, if more ventilation is required, the jacket is also offered in the Klim Advenure Rally Air variant. This Air version of the jacket replaces the Gore-Tex chassis with a heavy-duty Kevlar Mesh for better airflow.
